Abu Umama said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Read the Quran, for, truly, on the Day of Resurrection, he will appear as an intercessor for those who read it!"” Muslim 804.
It is reported from 'Uthman ibn' Affan that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The best of you are those who have studied the Qur'an and taught it to others." ... al-Bukhari 5027.
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Learn the Qur'an and ask through it from Allah for Paradise, until people learn it, who will ask for worldly things through it! Indeed, three are studying the Qur'an: the one who boasts of it; one who eats through it; and the one who reads it for the sake of Allah " ... It is narrated from the words of Ibn Mas'ud that the prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whoever will be glad that Allah and His Messenger will love him, let him read the Quran in Mushaf!" This hadith is an indication of the merit of reading the Qur'an from the Mushaf!
According to ‘Abdullah ibn’ Amr bin al-‘Asa, may Allah be pleased with them both, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: « Those who knew the Quran will be told: “Read, ascend and pronounce the words / rattil / clearly, as you did in earthly life, and, truly, your place will correspond to the last ayat you read”. This hadith was narrated by Ahmad 2/192, Abu Dawud 1464, Ibn Majah 3780, Ibn Hibban in his Saheeh 766 and at-Tirmidhi 2914 who said: “Good authentic hadith”. According to Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Anyone who reads at least one letter from the Koran will write down one good deed, and for each good deed tenfold is rewarded, and I’m not saying that“ Alif, Lam, Mim ”is one letter, no,“ Alif ”is a letter, "Lam" is a letter and "Mim" is a letter. " This hadith is quoted by al-Tirmidhi, who said: "A good authentic hadith."

From ‘Uqba ibn’ Amr it is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If the Koran were made with skin and then thrown into the Fire, then it would not have devoured it!" It is reported from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The one in whose heart there is nothing from the Koran is like a destroyed house!" at-Tirmizi 2913. Imam at-Tirmizi, Imam al-Nawawi, Sheikh ‘Abdul-Qadir al-Arnaut and researcher Husayn Salim Asad confirmed the authenticity of the hadith.
According to Abu Hurayrah, it is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The Koran will come on the Day of Judgment and say:“ O Lord, decorate him (who read the Koran)! ”, And they will put on the crown of honor. It is narrated from the words of Bashir bin al-Munzir that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Do not treat us one who does not chant the Quran" ... This hadith was narrated by Abu Dawood with a good chain of narrators.
In another hadith, narrated from the words of al-Bara bin al-Azib, it is reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Decorate the Quran with your voices." This hadith was narrated by Ahmad, Abu Daud, al-Nasai and Ibn Majah.
Imam Ahamad said: “You need to read the Quran beautifully, expressing sadness and thoughtfulness. This is precisely the meaning of the words:"Allah does not heed anything as he hears a prophet with a beautiful voice who reads the Qur'an aloud in a chant." According to Jabir, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Read the Qur'an and strive through it to Allah Almighty until people come who will do with it what they do with divination arrows, wanting to get a near life, not a future one." This hadith was narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawood, and Sheikh al-Albani called it good.
It is reported from Abu Musa that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The believer who reads the Qur'an is like a sweet lemon with a pleasant smell and taste, and the believer who does not read the Qur'an is like a date, which has no smell, but tastes sweet. A hypocrite who reads the Qur'an is like a basil, which has a pleasant smell, but tastes bitter, and a hypocrite who does not read the Qur'an is like a coloquint, which has no smell and tastes bitter. It is reported from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Indeed, some people Allah will exalt through this Scripture (Koran), and others - humiliate" ... Muslim 817.
It is narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "One should not be envious of anyone but two: the person to whom Allah has given the knowledge of the Koran and who reads it night and day, and the person to whom Allah has bestowed wealth and who spends it night and day." ... al-Bukhari 5025, Muslim 815.

Abu Hurayrah said: “Once the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked: "Wouldn't each of you be glad to return home to see three large, pregnant camels there ?!" We answered: "Of course." Then he said: "Three verses from the Koran that any of you read in your prayer are better for him than three big, pregnant camels!" " Muslim 802.
Abu Hureira narrated that he had heard the prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Allah, Praise be to Him Almighty, said: “I have divided the prayer between Me and My servant into two halves, and My servant will receive what he asks for. When (My) servant says: "Alhamdu lilyahi rabbil‘ Alamin (Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds!), Allah, Praise be to Him the Most High, says: "My servant gave Me praise." Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "If a person sleeps and misses a part of the Koran that he was supposed to read at night, or part of it, and then reads it between the al-Fajr prayer and the al-Zuhr prayer, it will be written after him as if he read it at night." Reported by al-Nisa'ai and others, al-Mujtaba, 2/68; Saheeh al-Jaami ', 1228.
From Anas it is reported that once the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah has those close to him from among His creations!" He was asked: "Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied: “Ahlyul-Kuran (those who read and study the Koran)! They are the confidants of Allah and His chosen ones! Ibn ‘Abbas said: “What prevents any of you, after returning from the market or from your business, to lie down on your sofa and read three verses from the Koran ?!” ad-Darimi 3379. Isnad authentic.
‘Ukba ibn’ Amira said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“ One who reads the Qur'an aloud is like giving sadak'a openly, and one who reads the Qur'an quietly, is like one who gives sadak'a secretly! ” " at-Tirmidhi 2919. Quoting this hadith, Imam Abu ‘Isa at-Tirmidhi said: “The meaning of this hadith is that one who reads the Qur'an quietly is better than one who reads it aloud, since a secret sadak'a is better in front of scholars than an explicit one. The meaning of this for those who have knowledge is that a person is protected from self-admiration. Indeed, for one who does a good deed in secret, there is no such fear as for one who does a good deed clearly ”... See al-Jami 'at-Tirmidhi 2/173.
Dignity of Sura al-Bakar and Ali Imran
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Read Surah al-Bak'ara in your homes! Indeed, the shaitan does not enter the house in which surah al-Baqara is read. " al-Hakim 1/561. The credibility was confirmed by Sheikh al-Albani.

Dignity of Ayat al-Kursi

Ubay ibn Ka'ba said that once the stocks of his dates were decreasing, and one night he decided to keep them on guard. It is reported that once, when Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) was guarding the collected zakat, he caught a thief who told him: “Let me go, and I will teach you such words that Allah will make useful to you!” Abu Hurayrah asked: "What are these words?" After that, the prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told Abu Hurayrah that it was the shaitan himself in the guise of a man. al-Bukhari 2311.
'Ali ibn Abu Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I have not seen any of those who converted to Islam and who had a mind so that he fell asleep without reading" Ayatul-Kursiy "... Ibn Abu Daud. Hafiz Ibn Hajar called the isnad good. See al-Futuhat ar-Rabbaniya 3/171.
The virtue of the last two verses of Sura al-Bakar
It is narrated from the words of Abu Mas'iyud al-Badri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "For those who begin to read the last two verses from the" Cow "sura at night, this will be enough" ... al-Bukhari 4008, Muslim 807.

Dignity of Sura al-Kahf (Cave)
"The one who has memorized the first ten verses from the" Cave "surah will be protected from the Antichrist" ... Muslim 809.
The version of the hadith, which mentions the last ten verses of Surah “The Cave”, is rejected (shazz), as said by Sheikh al-Albani in “al-Silsilah al-sahiha”. This version contradicts many similar hadiths, which say about the first ten verses of Surah “Cave”, and not the last.

Another version of the hadith says: "Whoever reads Surah" The Cave "on Friday will be overshadowed by the light that on the Day of Judgment will reach the heights of heaven from his feet, and this will serve him as atonement for sins committed between two Fridays." ... al-Hakim 2/368. Hafiz al-Munziri said that the hadith isnad was not bad, and Sheikh Abdul-Qadir al-Arnaut and Shuayb al-Arnaut called the hadith authentic.

The Dignity of Sura al-Mulk (Power)
It is narrated from the words of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a surah of thirty verses in the Qur'an that will intercede for a person (on the Day of Judgment) until his sins are forgiven him, and this is -"Blessed is the One in whose hands the power ..." " Abu Dawud 1400, at-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah 3786. The reliability of the hadith was confirmed by Imam Abu ‘Isa at-Tirmidhi, Shey-Khul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Sheikh al-Albani.

The Dignity of the Last Verse of Sura Ha-Tawba (Repentance)
Abu ad-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Who will speak seven times in the mornings and evenings:“Allah is enough for me! Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “ Yes, verily, Allah will exalt a person with the Koran (reader), in the same way Allah humiliates a person with the Koran (who left the reading of the Koran) "(Muslim, Ibn Madjah, Darimi, Ahmad).
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “... read it (the Quran), indeed, Allah rewards for its reading, for each letter - ten rewards, I do not say that for Alif, Lam, Mim - ten rewards, but for Alif - ten, for Lam - ten, for Mim - ten (retribution) "(Khakim, volume 1, no. 555).

Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “ A person who reads the Quran seems to have received a prophecy, with the difference that an angel does not come to him with a revelation. And the one who reads the Quran and considers that Allah gave someone better than this (knowledge of the Quran), then he (the reader) humiliated what Allah exalted (that is, the Speech of Allah) "(Hakim, Tabarani).
Yazid ibn Abi Habib (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “ Allah makes it easier to punish the parents of the student of the Qur'an, even if they were unfaithful "(Ibn Habban. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “ A person who reads the Quran in prayer while standing will receive one hundred rewards for each letter; the seated namaz will receive fifty rewards for reading each letter of the Qur'an; one who reads the Qur'an outside of namaz will receive ten rewards for each letter; to the one who listens to the reading of the Koran, desiring to receive a reward, one reward is written for each letter; to the one who has finished reading the Quran (in full), Allah will answer the prayer in this world or in the next world "(Daylami." Kanzul umal ", no. 2427).
There are many hadiths that encourage reading of the Qur'an. But the question arises: do all who read it receive full reward? Are there any ethical standards that you need to know when starting to read the Speech of Allah?
Yes, like any important action in the life of a believer, there are certain requirements for receiving rewards from reading the Koran. For today one can often see how some do not observe elementary ethics in relation to him, treating the Speech of Allah as with an ordinary book!
Ethics of reading the Qur'an
2. One should take the Qur'an in hand and put it in place after reading, if possible, without turning his back to it.
3. It is forbidden to touch and wear the Qur'an, even the case or the cloth in which it is wrapped, without ablution. It is permissible to recite the Qur'an by heart without ablution, but to be in this case during ablution is the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

6. Placing the Quran on the floor, even on a clean one, is considered a violation of the ethics of reverence for the Quran. It is better to put it on a pillow or a special stand, for this is Sunnah.
8. The Koran must be placed above all other books; you cannot put another book on it.
9. If someone deliberately throws the Qur'an or a leaf with a surah or ayah written on it against impurities, or throws dirt on the Qur'an, he falls into disbelief.
10. It is forbidden to take with you to the toilet and similar unclean places even a leaflet with a record of the verses of the Koran, as well as read them out loud there.
11. It is considered sunnah when the reader of the Qur'an sits facing the Qiblah. There is no sin in reciting the Quran while lying down.
13. It is considered sunnah to begin reading the Quran by reciting the phrase:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم . بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

19. The reading of the Koran cannot be called complete if the reader himself does not hear his own voice. But you can read the Qur'an silently as well - it depends on the intention of the reader. If there is a fear of riyaa (ostentatious, proud reading), or if reading loudly interferes with others, it is better to read to yourself. And if you do not bother anyone and there is no fear that the reading will be ostentatious, if there is an intention to inspire yourself or others, then it is better to read aloud.
20. When reading the Qur'an with an understanding of the meaning, it is Sunnah to express the corresponding feelings, one's attitude to the verses. For example, if an ayah is recited where Allah is glorified, then one should glorify Him, saying "Subhanallah"; if the ayah of praise of Allah is recited, praise Him, saying "Alhamdulillah"; if the ayah is about the mercy of Allah, one should ask for mercy for oneself and others; if the verse is about hellish torments for sins, then one should ask Allah to save oneself and others from such torments. So did the Prophet Muhammad himself (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
21. The greatest disrespect for the Qur'an should be considered the actions of those who, without at all grasping the true meaning of its verses, try to interpret them superficially, according to their own understanding, following translations into Russian and other languages. Inaccurate transmission of the meaning of the Koran misleads people, and such a person, hiding behind the lofty words of following and calling others to the Koran, in fact opposes Islam, as the Wahhabis and others do. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said about such people: “Those who interpret the Qur'an according to their own understanding, let them prepare a place for themselves in the fire of Hell” (At-Tirmidhi, Abu Daud and al-Nasai).
If there is a pause while reading the Koran, then before starting to read again, one should say “Auzu billahi mina-shshaitani-rajim”, brush your teeth and gums with sivak.
23. If during reading there was an eructation or yawning, you should stop it. After exiting this state, reading should continue.
24. Reading the Qur'an in a dormant state is discouraged, since there is a high probability of making mistakes.
25. It is considered sunnah to listen to the reading of the Quran carefully.
27. The one who reads the Qur'an should be so focused as if he is quietly, in a whisper, talking with Allah, being sure that he is in front of Him and reads His Word.
29. A reader of the Quran should not say other words during the reading process, unless this is absolutely necessary, you cannot laugh, play with your fingers - you should sit calmly and with respect.
34. It is considered sunnah if there is a good reader of the Koran in a group of gathered people, ask him to read some part aloud and listen to it.
35. When verses from the Qur'an are read, which speak of unbelievers, where they express their delusions and wrong thoughts about Allah, they should be read in a muffled voice, this is Sunnah.
36. When the reading of the verse from the Qur'an is completed,
﴿انَّ اللهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُور تَسْلِياً﴾. 33: الاية

37. After completing the reading of the Quran, one should say:
صدق الله العظيم وبلغ رسوله الكريم . اللهم انفعنا به و بارك لنا فيه والحمد لله رب العالمين و استغفر الله الحى القيوم

38. The urgent sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is to recite a supplication (dua) at the end of the reading of the Qur'an. Allah accepts such a prayer and answers it. An equally important sunnah is considered to arrange a meeting (majlis) upon completion of the reading of the Qur'an with the participation of all family members, relatives and friends. One should sincerely, long and wholeheartedly ask Allah for the blessings of both worlds, not only for oneself, but also for one's parents, household members, relatives, loved ones, friends and for all Muslims, ask Allah to exalt Islam and direct Muslim rulers to the Path truth.

Can any suras or verses of the Qur'an be superior to others?
The previous chapters have clearly indicated the great virtues of the Qur'an, and that the Qur'an is the greatest Word of Allah, and as some of the salaf have said: "The superiority of the Qur'an over other words is like the superiority of Allah over His creations"... Ibn Nasr in Qiyam al-layil 71.

However, the imams of our community disagreed as to whether any suras or verses can be superior to others? A group of imams, among whom most of the interpreters of the Quran believed that the verses of the Quran are the Words of Allah and they are the same in their greatness. See “al-Burkhan fi’ ulum al-Quran ”1/519.
As for the hadiths with the meaning: "The greatest surah is so-and-so ..." and so on, they said that they are talking about the value of the reward for reading them, and not that this sura is superior to others. Therefore, Imam Ibn Hibban, after mentioning the hadith about Surah al-Fatiha: "Should I tell you about the greatest chapter of the Qur'an?" , said: "Those. we are talking about a reward, and not about the fact that some suras of the Koran are better than others "... Other imams, including many muhaddiths, believed that there are verses and suras in the Qur'an that are superior to others both in reward and greatness, as indicated by clear arguments. And the superiority of something over something does not indicate a lack of that which is superior. For example, based on direct hadiths, it follows that the greatest surah in the Qur'an is the surah "al-Fatiha", and the greatest verse of the Qur'an is the ayat "al-Kursi". Also, the verses that contain monotheism, the description of Allah, His majesty and His praise are superior to those that contain various stories and narrations. Sheikh Syddyk Hasan Khan said: “There is no doubt that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) spoke about some suras and verses: "The greatest ..., the best ..."... So why should we be afraid to say the same ?! After all, the fact that some verses or suras are more majestic than others does not indicate their imperfection. But it should be noted that verses on decrees, prohibitions and other legal provisions at the right time and place may have an advantage. Explaining the hadith that surah "al-Ikhlas" is equal to one third of the Koran, Imam Ibn al-Qayim said: “But along with this greatness, this sura cannot replace the verses about inheritance, divorce, periods of waiting, etc. Moreover, such ayahs, in times of need, are more useful than reciting surah al-Ikhlyas ”... On the merits of surah "al-Fatiha" (Opening)
Surah "al-Fatiha" is seven ayahs repeated, the mother of Scripture and the great Qur'an
Allah Almighty said: "We have given you seven frequently repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an."(al-Hijr 15: 87).
The "seven frequently repeated ayats" refers to the surah "al-Fatiha", which consists of seven verses, often recited in each rak'at, each prayer, and it is also called the "great Qur'an."

Surah "al-Fatiha" is a spell and healing from diseases

Imam al-Nawawi said: “Scientists said that the words about dividing the surah al-Fatiha into two parts mean that the first part is the praise, glorification and exaltation of Allah Almighty, as well as a declaration of self-surrender to Him. On the merits of surah "al-Kahf" (Cave)

37. Surah "al-Saffat"
